Housed in the great Congo Basin which is the second lung of humanity after the Amazon,  Gabon is Covered with more than 75% of forest, Ecotourism has been at the heart of the development of the country. Thirteen large national parks, 800km of beaches that display purity and wild beauty, sun, wildlife and  cultural diversity.

This trip will take you to the Ikobey village in the dense equatorial forest, meeting animals and forest peoples: pygmies, the first inhabitants of Gabon. A journey that combines adventure, scenery, discovery, hiking and meetings. A trip or an excursion within their community gives an idea of the life of Antan and our ancestors. They live fishing, hunting and gathering. They know how to track animals, imitate their cries to attract them, hunt useful, their pharmacopoeia is nationally renowned.

An immersion in the pygmies is a sacred journey to the other to know him and to yourself to know each other. You will sleep under huts, mud house or bark. The lighting is done with the lamp and the baths in rivers (secure).
Beyond an immersion among pygmies, Ikobey and neighboring villages offer many activities to please you:
Vision of animals (gorillas, elephants, mandrills, chimpanzees and many others), traditional dance vigil, weaving raffia, crossbow hunting, visiting caves, etc.
The transfer from Libreville to Ikobey will be by car and will take a whole day. The stay in pygmy land will last 4 days /
3 nights. After this change of scenery, return to Libreville and stay for 3 days / 2 nights in an idyllic place at the Turtle Bay in
Pongara National Park (located 30 minutes by boat from Libreville).
